Life Down Under- Sydney/Blue Mountains edition

My second trip to Sydney was very different to my first! A friend I had made on my adventures in Cairns, called Dean, has recently got a job as a tour guide in Sydney and he basically sorted my entire weekend for me! I was lucky enough to be in Sydney during ‘Vivid’. Vivid is a huge light show that goes on every night for a few weeks each year around the city. There are hundreds of neon attractions and light shows projected onto lots of buildings, including the Opera House. Some are interactive- one of my favourites was where the light projection mimicked your movements onto a building. It was a total sensory overload but it was amazing! Then it was an early night for us as we were up and off by 7am the next day for our blue mountains tour. There were 3 stops on our tour, the first of which was Kangaroo spotting with which we were unlucky, unfortunately. However, the tour was quickly redeemed by our hike through the Blue Mountains.
